COFAN's state-of-the-art aluminum and copper low profile heat sinks are the best performing heat sinks we have seen to date. We believe this extremely low thermal resistance is due to our open fin design, high number of fins,
fin thickness, highest CFM fan we could make, (we are also and OEM of fans), and surface flatness of 3/1000 per linear inch.
Our test results showed a thermal resistance as low as .387 for the 60 x 79 size. This is much better than the copper without the weight. Our clip design is also a highly effective method of attachment for two reasons: the
wire design allows for less material to be removed and also the dual rocker design which does not "pop out"
when subjected to 30G shock and vibration test (per independent testing).
All LP series heat sinks will work on Intel PPGA, FCPGA, and FCPGA2 (Celeron, Coppermine, and Tualitan) CPU's.
In addition to having the best performing aluminum extruded cpu coolers in the world, we are also the only
CPU cooler manufacturer who has 100K hour fans. Call us and we will email you our MTBF test report. Although
our test results show the aluminum to have better performance, we still offer the same design in copper (see
