Cofan USA was established in Fremont, CA in 1994 as a fan and heat sink manufacturer.

• In 1995, Cofan introduced its first Heat Sink/Fan CPU Cooler to good reviews and popular demand.
• In 1999 Cofan USA, using their growing manufacturing expertise in Asia, introduced their Asia manufacturing capability and program management skills to solve customer needs for low cost off-shore production for both high and low quantity needs.
• In 2000 Cofan USA offered design and manufacture services for custom sheet metal, diecast, extrusion and machined products.
• In 2001, Cofan USA introduced thermal analysis capability using the latest CFD tools to enable a quick turn, all-in-one service for customer thermal needs encompassing thermal analysis, design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing.
